I may have missed it, or it simply didn’t occur, but was there evidence that L2 notified QMC of default prior to QMC making payment with interest?
In most contacts I’ve dealt with, the associated party has to notify the default party that they are considers I default. Typically, this is done in writing and before lawsuits are filed.
