Re: reallypeople? #60918
Stories like this just blow my mind! People are always saying, "Oh, surely, so-and-so must know about Leronlimab." No they don't! Their information filters are set so high that they can see no more light than those with their heads firmly planted up their butts!
If I'm wrong about this, show me an example otherwise!
I know that when I have tried to approach "someone who should hear this," they often reject out of hand my information, saying "If this were true, I would have heard of it before now," or, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is."
This phenomenon really kind of creeps me out. I have demonstrated it to myself time and time again. I have not found a way around it. It is what causes people to believe in conspiracy theories - what else could it be but a conspiracy of silence? Or a curse by the Gods on the likes of Cassandra!
But, no, it is just a human social phenomenon that I don't understand. Creepy!
