You're referring to Dr. Patterson's paper, which was written based off of the EIND's for COVID-19 with Leronlimab.
Yes, by calming the hyper-immune response, (not reaching T-cell exhaustion), T cells were able to fight off the virus.
We will see with S/C results if it is indeed going to deliver for COVID-19 patients. EIND results gave us confidence, and I do not see anything less for S/C.
