I hear some good news is coming out sometime this week. My assumption is that it will be in regards to hiring a new Audit Firm to get quarterly financials out in a timely manner. Even though the Company may have given the current Audit Firm the data needed to post the quarterly financials, the Company is still at the mercy of that Audit Firm to provide that data to the SEC in a timely manner so the Company does not get penalized.
In my opinion it is best to acquire another Audit Firm even if the cost is more up front, but does less damage to Investor confidence which saves more money in the long run. If this is the case, they will post an 8K for sure.
