I'm not sure they have a choice.
Big Pharma has failed...Remdesivir, plasma, Regeneron, no near future vaccine, people's mistrust of vaccines, issues of production, etc.
The FDA-Big Pharma gravy train isn't delivering the goods.
Promises, promises.
The train ain't gonna arrive. Except the one they load bodies on.
People are getting upset (oh, dying too).
This has gone on long enough. ENOUGH.
Recently Hahn(FDA) mentioned safety and the expectation of benefit, just the other day.
Recently Pelosi just stressed complete safety, in her jittery way.
Politicians maybe getting edgy too? Sociopaths, edgy?.
Besides Leronlimab, there is nothing else out there that meets "saftey and expectation of benefit"
for severe/critical, except cytosorb and they cannot meet needed production and must be used with blood filtration
machines, which all hospitals don't have in needed abundance.
So, name it. What's next, Fauci? Apple cider vinegar? Astral vibrations and mung bean soup?
