In vitro inhibits SARS-cov2 replication (like nearly everything else in the world).
Pretty nasty side effects as well. I was surprised to see that suramin was blocked atp as well.

It seems that Mose extracellular atp from vesicular exocytosis. Probably nothing to be done about release from necrosis.
