Re: Puravida19 #15604
It is such a bold, bold, statement. I don’t think Steve would be given to this kind of pronouncement unless it meant revenue. By now Steve fully understands that no pronouncement of accomplishment has any merit whatsoever in moving the needle on a scale of significance unless it is associated with revenue. The statement seems to imply more than a paradigm shift, but something so big and so solid and so impactful that big revenue is either a foregone conclusion or revenue is already flowing in. Not to be cynical, but we are kind of past the point of being impressed by the wow-power of our technology.
It doesn’t seem that a statement like this is captured in what we have seen to date around the Health ID. We are aligned with three partners of note, a player on the international stage in responding to the virus, and our technology is part of a package of service delivery. This kind of pronouncement seems to imply something more than just revenue via these partnerships, though I suspect most of us would find that just fine. On its face, this pronouncement sets a high bar as marker of what we may expect, something beyond what we’ve seen to date, though related in some way to the Health ID given the new labels? Very curious.
Posting something so expansive and so fraught with meaning on the Quantum Materials “Corporation” website seems to reinforce the idea that both revenue and technical merit are in play. This is not a technology website. It is the website of a corporation that by definition is about generating revenue and showing a return to shareholders. I don’t think Steve would extend himself like this, use words as dramatic as “big deal”, unless it was about revenue. He sounds pretty excited, and he is well aware of the one thing that will elicit excitement in others at this point. We will see.
