I saw your post earlier, and it looks like no one responded. I'll throw some thoughts your way... feel free to take them or leave them!
1) Does GNBT benefit directly from the vaccine deals? I believe the benefit is all indirect through the shares it owns. I don't think they are doing any consulting-type activities, as all of the related personnel seem to be dual employees. That said, there is a benefit in that respect: Some of these guys (Joe, Dr EvH, Rich, etc) will surely get paid a salary thru NGIO if things get rolling. And that could help them remain patient in their roles at GNBT until that ship is righted!
2) Does Joe fear licensing out the technology, especially in China? I think we've heard Joe's feelings on similar matters before. If I channeled Joe, I think he would say that the best he can do is keep the army of lawyers on the details of the deals and deal with any problems as they arise; but the potential is too great to not take the risk, especially in the case of China.
