I'm not sure why you are obsessed with a ground breaking award winning product that was built for a single purpose, to provide a streaming platform for 4K video when none existed, and then was discontinued as soon as the TV platforms and set top boxes supported 4K Streaming without the necessity for the NP-1. It was discontinued as the business model was never to be in the hardware business, and it was only built as a stop gap until the TV and STB manufacturers caught up with 4K technology. The NP-1 was discontinued 5 years ago and will never be sold again. To bring up this is the same as asking Sega if they anticipate the Sega Saturn to be on the shelves by the holiday season.
