1 to 20 reverse split and a new symbol., MXSGD effective Oct 9th the way I read it.
A million shares priced at 0.0026 today will become 50,000 shares worth 0.052 tomorrow and in both cases the dollar value is $2600. A nickel stock is still a penny stock and does not get us closer to a listed exchange.
What does the change in symbol to five letters signify? Can't imagine it's an upgrade even with the higher share price.
Typically a reverse split is a desperation move that the market does not reward. The prior reverse splits I've been thru in other penny stocks saw the new share price quickly retreat to the old share price and loss of nearly all value. Hope this plays out better.
MXSG at 0.0026 on volume of 31 million - down 25% at 2 30 pm CDT . Guess that indicates what the market thinks of the move.
No notice to public or shareholders even though it's a done deal as posted by FINRA? We knew this was going to happen but it's hitting a time of weakness and tanking share price. .
Badger - what's going on here?
