I disagree with only one of the many positive aspects of your post. I believe that LL is as big a threat to the insurance industry as it is to BP. The more indications found for LL found the more people will be willing and able to to self insure. As LL proves itself for many of its indications people will be less fearful of the economic side effects of many dreadful diseases. The insurance industry was created to exploit peoples fears. It needs those fears to justify its existence.
