The explanation is simply: attorneys. Joe can not issue a PR without it being checked by attorneys to make sure it doesn't convey something that isn't happening. And based on the way companies get sued these days, I'm ok with that.

I suspect we will see an official PR most likely on Thurs., dropped just before the conference call. It might be tomorrow, but that 8 am CC time just screams that there will be news first, then followed by a CC to describe and discuss.
