You are correct that we of course don’t know his dose. The U.K. study also did not indicate deleterious effects, as dar as I have seen, from short courses of steroids in Covid, just no improvement outside of severe and critical patients.
It is apparent that powerful figures, governmental and otherwise, benefit by projecting an image of strength.
I, as I believe many are, remain concerned that the statements of President Trumps physicians are not matched by the reports of oxygen use and medications not typically administered as best practices in mild and moderate patients.
