I'm glad budesonide worked for you. There is evidence that smokers have showed lower incidence of severe disease due to higher incidence of inhaled steroid use.

My concern, which I imagine others share, is that steroids Dexamethasone, would not have been administered were President Trump's symptoms not serious (apparently more serious that we have been told).

These physicians undoubtedly know that powerful steroids carry their own risks, so that risk needs to balanced by a significant need.

Fingers crossed that the right therapy has been chosen, balancing the risks and benefits.

Of course, if things don't improve, we here all hope that Leronlimab will be administered.
