I had to be on the road for nearly 4 hours tonight, so of course I listened to coverage of the President's battle with COVID. I heard at least 3 references to the cytokine storm. I never even heard of "cytokine storm" before Dr. BP described leronlimab's effectiveness against it. Dr. Oz even mentioned one drug whose name was so similar to leronlimab, I had to spell it out in my mind to make sure it wasn't. I'm sure some sharpie out there can find it. If I heard correctly, Dr. Oz even said that melatonin helps calm the cytokine storm.
The competition is fierce and powerful. That is good from a therapeutic standpoint. It's not so good from a small biotech standpoint. If CYDY's CD-12 results don't knock the doors off, it will be back to HIV and TNBC. Cytodyn is going to have to navigate some rough waters to make it to the beach.
