Stuff like that seems like boilerplate CEO cheerleading, it doesn't bother me that much.
It's the specific dissembling, like stating repeatedly there wouldn't be a r/s, that gets me angry.
The bottom line, so to speak, is that if Mr Kay is trying to make the case that he's been a well-intentioned, honest manager all along, then he's simply incompetent.
