Given the President's past support of HCQ and that he took a round of it earlier this year, I have little doubt that he will start HCQ to treat his COVID19 diagnosis. If he takes any other medication (I doubt he’ll try a medication still in a trial) that would cast doubt on his previous support of HCQ.

The benefit the President has is a personal medical team consisting mainly of military medical providers. He will no doubt be monitored closely for any changes in his vitals and treated appropriately. Unlike most COVID19 patients, who report days after initially infection with symptoms, the President’s COVID appears to have been identified early.
