Oh me, such dire prognostications! I am dissatisfied as everyone that so much time has elapsed since I first invested in Mexus yet we are still at the .003 share price and possibly going to take another hit soon.
But then I take another look at what I saw on my first trip to Elena. The pad was bare, a minimum of equipment, and a small Merrill Crowe unit. Over the last two years plus however there has been a vast improvement in the capabilities of being able to ramp up production. I was there on a subsequent trip as the huge crusher was put in place, the conveyors mounted to the pad, and more blasting and drilling of the Julio vein. On my last trip there the pad was loaded, leaching had commenced, and later, as reported, gold was finally produced.
Move on to present day. I still wait and hope, my mantra for many months now. But still, in spite of everything, I maintain an optimism that is only tempered by a possibility of some huge calamity happening. I hear about all the bad things, the virus, cartels, and how bad Caborca is. Hell, I would rather live in Caborca than a lot of the crime ridden and murderous cities right here in the good 'ol USA!!
With a huge amount of equipment in place now there is ample reason to believe that in the future, production could turn into a massive rise in optimism as well as sufficient funds to operate the mine as Paul has always wanted to, unhampered by delays because of lack of funds, men, and expertise.
Paul continues to work his ass off. He's at the mine now and continues his undaunting desire to fulfill his dream of Elena becoming a major production company. With everything in place now it is my belief that should he desire to bring someone else in, either through an outright sale or other contractual incentives, that he now has a truly attractive package for a real deal. There's no question in my humble opinion that the gold is there, I've seen it! Hopefully he will produce enough gold to finance the operation himself without outside interests.
Bottom line is, I haven't given up on the idea of Mexus becoming a profitable venture. In the meantime, I continue with, "Wait and hope". Good luck to all-GGB
