The BARDA and OWS topic are important. They are (were) opportunities for small companies to get funding to help the fight against COVID19. To date, 9 companies have received $945,556,890 in grant money for therapeutics, including awards to Astra Zeneca and Regeneron. The lowest grant to a therapeutic company was $7 million but the average was $100 million. CYDY could’ve easily gotten an award based off EIND data.
If you take a closer look at those 9 companies, 8 of them are Big Pharma, and 1 is Sab Biotherapeutics, a private, pre-revenue biotech company out of South Dakota that's backed by Big Pharma:
“We’re delighted to have Merck, an innovative global healthcare leader, and one of the top 10 R&D investors worldwide, join our group of investors as we look to apply this innovative immunotherapy platform across several therapeutic categories including infectious disease, autoimmune, inflammation and oncology.”
