Not gonna lie. Many of the recent posts here have made reading this board a far less enjoyable exercise. Speaking of exercise, I wasn’t able to do much this week so I’ve settled for wine curls. Of which I have done many. Some are calling me the “Young Arnold Schwartzenegger of our generation” and they may not be wrong.
But enough about me. (For the moment. I’m sure we’ll get back to me)
I’d like to make everyone aware of a concept that could completely change your message board lives for the better. The concept is:
Move On
Move On - phrasal verb
(moved on; moving on; moves on)
Definition of move on:
To go on to a different place, subject, activity, etc.
"Let's put that issue aside and move on."
Ok, back to me.
I got to my hotel for the night after a long day and a longer drive. I booked a Residence Inn so I had a kitchen because, well, eating two filets is far more reasonably priced when you cook them yourself. So after taking off my shoes to get comfortable I realize the carpet is wet. Nothing gross, as it turns out. Just wet from a steam or wet-vac cleaning. But it’s wet so I ask for a new room. I get one because I’m a gold member (no big deal) and after lugging my shit back out of the first room into my car and then back out into my new room I cracked a bottle of Alexander Valley Cabernet and headed to the can. Turns out this particular toilet has a deep bowl. Like, impressively deep. It probably owns an underlined, well-worn copy of Camus’ The Stranger. It’s deep. And after using it for its intended purpose I realized that the big surge in bidet use and awareness isn’t where the next great advancement of toilet technology lies. It’s in deep bowls. Makes even the most reasonable deposit sound like a depth charge. I almost yelled “YOU SUNK MY BATTLESHIP!” It was great.
Anyways…
Not unlike a night on the road that throws a hurdle or two your way, investing in Cytodyn is a path that’s lousy with obstacles. Just when you think you have a good grasp of a potential outcome and its timeline you’re met with conflicting information from one call to the next, or some tidbit of new information that would have been handy to have days/weeks ago.
It’s tough. I get it.
But if there was one thing that stood out to me on this call more than anything it was that CLEARLY there are things going on behind the scenes that we’re not always aware of. This shouldn’t actually be a surprise, but the way some people post you’d think we’re entitled to be 100% up to speed on everything at any point in time. And with maybe, 40% of the information about a subject some people just won’t shut up about a need for a black and white public trial of said information.
It’s getting old.
But hey, you do you.
Just know that if I’ve set you to ignore there are one of two reasons for it. One is that you are clearly a short or troll and bring absolutely nothing to this board. You’re probably a terrible person in real life too, if you do this. And if that estimation is true, I’d wish for you a truly great day for once. The kind where your hot pocket is cooked evenly throughout (isn’t blisteringly hot on the edges and cold as ice in the middle) and it’s brought straight to you in your mom’s basement so you don’t even have to move from your gaming computer.
The other reason I might ignore you is because you’re too negative and don’t understand how to move on (CALL BACK!). I’m open to considering anything good or bad about this investment of mine. I’m sure most people feel similarly. But after the eleventh time in 3 hours that I have to read your angry, negative post about something I just don’t want to see it anymore. I try to give both kinds of message board abusers the benefit of the doubt for a while but as I get older I have less and less patience for being reasonable with the unreasonable.
That being said, if you feel like I’ve blocked you without giving you ample opportunity to prove your worth please send me an email at NPlied@noYOUdon’tgetit.gov and I’ll review your submission within 60 days unless you have a priority review.
