I'm not right on, but close. Using the difference in props test I get two sided results as follows, acknowledging we've heard total dead from 45 to 50:
21/65 vs 24/130: p=.0395
22/65 vs 24/130: p=.0234
23/65 vs 24/130: p=.0133
24/65 vs 24/130: p=.0073
Are you using odds ratio, or do I have something else tweaked?
Big point: I don't think P<.05 does it at an interim.
24/65 is 37% deaths in placebo!
