You have to stop being so judgmental about people about how much complaining or being upset is proportional to their pain and losses. There are many paths to enlightenment.
They haven't turned a profit in one year out of 20. That should tell you all you need to know about 1) their marketing skills 2) the viability of the company and 3) management's overall performance.
This is not at all how business works. You don't try the channel partner method of marketing for 16 years without any success and then say, oops, oh well, we tried. Should they give it another 16 years or maybe should they have been trying something else, too?
