I have found the PPS calculations proposed over the last week interesting. So I would like to add another equation into the PPS calculus. Wash Sales https://www.fidelity.com/learning-center/pers...-rules-tax. The trading volume since Sept. 16th coincides with, (actually more than), the increased of outstanding shares (~ 15 million). So with the PPS seemingly stabilized in the low .20s, I wonder how many investors “dumped” GNBT looking for the tax loss for this year hoping that they can get back in before the PPS has sustained upward movement?

So new questions:
Will the Wash Sale rules affect any PPS upward movement?
Do Wash Sale rules apply to investment companies, if so how?
