I really, REALLY hope I am wrong about this, but I think we are vastly underestimating what this second wave may look like.
Again, I hope I am wrong and I only have history to look to for answers. That said, if the second wave is similar to the second wave of the Spanish flu we are in for some pain.
Wave 2 during the Spanish flu was about 4 times as tall (peak fatality) and roughly three times as long (trough to trough) as the first wave was.
