The paper is the hands of the journal to which Dr. Patterson submitted it.
Occam’s razor does not argue that the most anxious explanation is correct, but the simplest.
As Dr. Patterson notes with Dr. Yo, the journal to which he submitted wanted a control group. He also noted that the review process, in spite of Covid, is slow.
As Dr. Patterson and Cytodyn claim that leronlimab is the cure for severe Covid, the manuscript will not be published with a cursory review.
No journal and no peer reviewer wants to be party to a 21st century medical equivalent of cold fusion, so I am not surprised in the least that this article remains in the review process.
