I've only been skimming the posts, but there seems to be some question about the Company's current financial situation. My interpretation of what was said during the Dr. Been interview is that the Company has enough funds to continue operations for the studies ongoing now, but not enough to do all the trials they want to do. Hence, NP isn't feeling any pressure to take money and is betting that the SP will be much higher than it is today by the time he needs the money.
