Here's how I look at the investment. I have the chance to sit at a roulette table and bet on 20 spins:
- Green I lose everything
- Red I double my money and get 2% dividend per year
- Black I lose 25%

Each spin may take 4 to 12 months (overall average)
Oh, and the chance of green is less than 1% at this point

You may debate the percentages or length of time but would you take those odds? Most investments I get 1 spin and green is much higher than 1%. That's not even counting being involved in company that could potentially save many lives.
