I think I read Heathrow airport could need 40 million tests a year. Multiply that by airports around the world and we're looking at over a billion tests a year.
It's easy to manufacture counterfeit tests or most other valuable goods. Stopping them is the problem and it's overcome by end-to-end supply chain registration.
Every test needs a Health Status Reporter like QDX HealthID with test serial numbers input by their manufacturer before routing out of the warehouse. Without that step there cannot be trust that the test is authentic. That's why it was so important that QDX HEALTHID partnered with three test manufacturers.
