We have "always" had 3 various specialty bred cats and they are costly in many ways. We have two left and after we lose these I told my wife we will just buy what I call throw away cats as they generally live longer and don't need to upkeep like these guys do. Of course love them dearly but things like $55 dollar for 8 lb specialty blends will be no more. Sure I will always buy $19-$18 dollar, unscented and dust free cat litter and of course maintain their $450 dollar air filtering system but we will need to cut back as we are getting older.
