There has been an aweful lot of negativity lately. Lots of doom and gloom. Lots of "if the DSMC doesnt stop CD12 for efficacy, COVID is lost."
This is nonsense. In all likelihood COVID is going to be with us for years. Possibly forever. Flu related ARDS is going to be with us forever.
But, but, but "Other companies will beat us to market if we have to complete the trial!"
Maybe. But even if they do, and we have to complete a full trial, and get a full approval for COVID, we still should. The market size may be decreased, but there will still be a market. And obtaining an approval for COVID, will provide us revenue and will make subsequent approvals easier to obtain.
With an approval and some amount of revenue, enrollment in trialls becomes easier.
With a growing population of treated patients, enrollment becomes easier.
I feel that we have a good chance of EUA from CD12, but even if we dont get one, we should and will finish the trial and seek an approval.
