Re: nicehedges #56709
There is a disturbing pattern here with our CEO. It is really shaking my confidence going forward; only the promise of the science is keeping me here. jI wonder if Mr. Poorhouse will be able to take us across the finish line to approval before alienating everyone directing traffic to that finish line? The admission that the EUA wasn't filed with the FDA after a PR stating that it was being done and then Dr. Laz saying he was unsure why the FDA hadn't responded is doubly troubling. That means not only didn't NP file, but he misled and/or failed to apprise his cohorts that he failed to file. While it makes complete sense that the FDA would reject it because many in the MM group recover on their own and as our fellow poster child Cassandra eloquently surmised, perhaps it was a concern that using LL for MM treatment or trials would deplete the limited supplies so focus on S/C was, ahem, a more critical need ... but if that's the case, then why can't he be honest with us? I've applauded his previous transparencies, the successes to this point and his tireless enthusiasm, but as a source in the story pointed out, nothing has made it to the finish line yet and with no revenue, all these other trials are too expensive so he may be spreading us way too thin here. And I agree that the constant PR videos do begin to resemble a carnival huckster-style of promotion that may be turning off important people in the path to approval. And they appear to be an already anal bunch to deal with, so in this light the relentless promotion becomes counter-productive. On the one hand I'd like to see NP's hard work become success, for him almost as much as for me cuz he's a hard worker and seems like such a swell guy, but he's making me awfully nervous about my investment here. I sure hope that $25m to be spent on talent includes a top-notch PR company to help CYDY reflect a more professional, big-time pharmaceutical industry leader that they intend to become.
