You are totally correct Dr.Acula. I am in southern Cali and the smoke is just rotten to the core. I have been living with it for 2 weeks and I wouldn't even wish it on my worst enemy. It's like when you eat, your swallowing smoke and you can definitely taste it, for its revolting. Even my cats are throwing up from all the smoke. At sunset, the sun is like a red moon apocalypse & feels like the Earth is ending.
So, Washington & Oregon is experiencing the same thing. On top of that it's been 30+ days of 105 degrees and here, I've experienced 113 degrees where I live in the high desert. Today, 9/18th, I can see the sun as a yellow sun and not obscured by smoke & today is the first day with only 50% smoke rather than 100% smoke covered skies. Some times I can't even see the mountain that is only 2 miles from me.
So, yes, Docj, I have compassion for those living in this apocalypse as I am in it so yes, everyone not in this area, enjoy the ability to breathe clean air and blue skys - GLTU
