Mo Knows! --> What's great about stock price estimates is it helps anchor investor's expectations in what's possible. The reason I love the $240+ a share estimate for IPIX (thanks Mo) is that it's based on market value of the application of IPIX's IP while perhaps assuming flawless execution. It captures what's possible. IPIX doesn't need to capture 100% of the Brilacidin or Kevetrin addressable markets for investors to succeed. Obviously.
I'm excited for the next few weeks. The iBio folks on Stocktwits are going crazy over some announcement that they are expecting either tomorrow or next week including links to Senator Alexander's speech about the need for a multi-year plan to deal with the next virus. The video is <here> and is posted by an iBio long. You will see from the video comments that many of that biased crew believe Senator Alexander is talking about iBio's manufacturing facility.
All well and good ... perhaps it has nothing to do with iBio ... who knows. But Alexander's thinking reminded me of the first time my jaw hit the floor regarding any of this Covid-19 stuff and IPIX. In the June 11th press release from IPIX refers to the collab with the RBL as researching Brilacidin as a "Pan-Coronavirus Therapeutic".
Now, I know we haven't heard that term in other IPIX press releases I don't believe. But I also don't think this is Leo's language. I think he is using the term the lab is using when discussing results from their analysis.
Curious if this potential 10-year investment that Senator Alexander is proposing would be to stockpile Brilacidin among other medications.
