I count 11 verticals

VCs invested $160M into Showpad with the last round being $70M last year

$160M on a company that may or may not see the see the light of the OTC let alone the NASDAQ

Oh the dilution of raising money!

Especially that much money

Showpad, a sales enablement platform for presentations and other collateral, raises $70M

So if they raised $160M, what is their valuation?

Seismic has been helping companies create and manage their sales and marketing collateral since 2010. Today the company announced a $100 million Series E investment on a $1 billion valuation

They raised a total of $179M

Now if Showpony raised $160M are they worth $1.6M?

How much does Seismic cost?

You know what they say.

If you have to ask, you can't afford. There is a reason why some companies don't put the licensing cost on their website.

Let me try to summaries the Solofire acquisition this:

Opens the door up to many verticals

Some companies are charging $3m for their stack

Those companies have a valuation of over $1B

Not a bad space to be in with the Solofire competition valued so high

I said it before but screendoor submarine commanders don't understand.

From startups to multi billion dollar companies, they raise a lot of money.

Even Tesla announced they are raising more money this month

I don't think for a submarine yet, but they got the batteries for it.

Just not the door.
