I would take $40 a share right now as well.
However, and Im hoping this brings all sides of this conversation together: There currently exists an amount of risk (we dont need to agree on the amount for this conversation).
If we get a PDUFA date, the amount of risk decreases. If we get an EUA authorization the amount of risk decreases. Revenue, partnerships, etc.
Point being that as we continue to de-risk, the share price will rise as will the amount necessary for a buy out.
I doubt that I would vote to approve $40 a share if we receive EUA and our share price rises to say $20/share.
