How many faithful longs post here regularly? Dozens right? Add those who don't post frequently and there's probably well over 100 posters that we know and trust.
How many bashers post here regularly? I don't mean how many aliases, I mean how many actual people? Four, maybe 5? Their perceived strength is in their multiple alias numbers. Then add the additional bashers over on the other site, and how many does that total? About a dozen from what I see, and that's also taking into account the drive by bashers who hit and run every so often.
It's amazing how such a powerful group of longs can be so easily stirred up by such a small and an insignificant group. Post after post of name calling and personal attacks on this minuscule group.
Then when the mods delete all the basher's posts, the board is left with dozens of hateful messages about how horrible this group of 10 or 12 people is, and some get very upset if we delete their replies to the deleted basher posts.
If anyone wants to stop this cycle of negativity, please don't reply to basher posts, and don't reply to replies to basher posts, etc. Stop the cycle of posting to them or about them, and let the mods delete them as soon as we are aware of the problem. The board will be a much more pleasant experience if we dismiss these children and keep on topic.
