Vertex is going to try to repurpose a drug for Alzheimer's. Thankfully it is NOT pursuing the failed amyloid theory. Seems to have some efficacy in mice but as we know, drugs that work for mice don't always work on humans. Let's hope they can come up with the huge amount of money for clinical trials.
