1,176 covid deaths yesterday in US.
I don't recall who posted that Covid was over due to fewer than 300 deaths one day early this week, but this is a reminder not to get hung up on a single data point.
Deaths are trending down, but unfortunately are likely to rise in the coming weeks with the return to school and the social mixing from Labor Day.
This will be a long grind. Constant effort required to remain safe.
