They began salvage on the Pulaski because it's a shallow water wreck and the peel grab modification wasn't completed. Shallow wrecks were really the only option, until now.
They also dove on the North Carolina last year for a couple of days and had some success. Most of last year was spent magging and they located new wrecks. It made the news. I guess you missed it. The North Carolina find was the season finale if you will.
The reason you would research and catalog shipwrecks is because you want to know what's out there. A merchant ship carrying cotton and bricks may have wrecked near a passenger ship that carried mostly the wealthy.
Some are naive enough to think because there was a hurricane in 1715 that only one wreck could account for a piece of wood found, a spike, or even a mask.
You want the right legal profile. You want to know the cargo's value, etc.
Endurance surveyed 100's of square miles off the coast of New England and located many wrecks. They knew ahead of time what to look for and what to expect.
I realize this is all foreign to SFRX shareholders. That's okay.
BTW, Endurance posted a little while ago a video from the recent SS Merida dive survey. That ship went down with 27 tons of silver in 1911.
Real salvors know what they are looking for and how to find it.
