I agree, CT, tech pubs that cytokine storm are no problem are somewhat humorous at this point. Kind of like flat earthers. But I do like the idea of comparing covid cytokine storms to cytokine storms in other diseases. I am glad they published it. At the time they published, they probably knew their implication that cytokine storm was not important was wrong. But maybe there are some diehard holdouts out there.

Maybe they didnt reference the Patterson preprint because its only a preprint and not yet officially published? Maybe people dont reference preprints.
