I give them no leeway. It's 100% ridiculous that we're still suffering when the answer is literally right in front of them.
Just realism. I don't expect them (FDA or UK) to suddenly "see the light" and approve something after one meeting. That would be completely breaking from their established pattern of CYA first, look out for Big Pharma second, help people distant third.
I feel like some of them get more upset when the vending machine eats their dollar, than they do about the unnecessary deaths in the months since leronlimab has shown to be effective.
