Crujones,
The reports of dexamethasone (and the search for other corticosteroids) for treatment of severe covid 19 are absolutely correct and supportive, not threatening to leronlimab.
In severe covid 19, the cytokine storm/pathologic hyper-inflammation needs to be addressed, nearly at any cost. Steroids accomplish this, just in a clumsy and non-specific manner. They risk, in addition to other effects, the proliferation of other infections, as the immune system is broadly suppressed, not modified as by leronlimab.
Dexamethasone has only a 30% reduction in severe patients and appears actively injurious in mild/moderate covid patients.
The larger picture is that the indications for leronlimab vastly exceed Covid-19.
When in doubt, always return to the Blafarm catalyst and Ohm20 indication lists.
