I am on the eye side... my interest in myocardial health comes from my mother, who died from congestive heart failure and my brother who is now in the early stages. Heart failure in my mind occurs anytime there is either a mismatch between any two ejection fractions of the total of four right and left ventricles. Both sides can fail based on such measurements. This is complicated by the contractile forces available to each side of the heart. A major difference could also be considered a form of heart failure... but non-congestive in nature.

We also need to remember that physiologic studies of the normal heart due not predict the physiology of a pathologic state.

I believe that every organ including the heart has the capacity to heal. when we see pathology, it is because this natural capacity was insufficient.

In this context, it makes sense to approach severely ill patients with great care.

Because RTFLF has the capacity to directly affect the heart, in the absence of a cytokine storm, in order to understand the effect of this hormone on a failing heart, one should first treat the storm with agents, not suspected of having direct actions on the heart... Leron*
