Second, I enlisted in the army in 1969. Flunked my physical because of a minor eye problem. I told the recruiter I could do office jobs. He said we all do the same basic training and if I got hurt or killed it would be on the military.

I could not play baseball of tennis, I could not follow the ball. Football and basketball I could play, but it interfered a bit.
