But yes, it does have non ferrous sensors, 3D subbottom profiling, and 100/400khz side scan sonar. The system also has a high resolution camera system. The AUV can be programmed to fly over a target area in, say, 5000 ft of water, and take 1x1 meter photos that are electronically "stitched" together to create photo mosaics like the one below.
The photo is a colonial era wreck found by Endurance’s AUV in roughly 5000 ft of water more than 200 miles off the US east coast.
