During the huge oil bust, in the early 1980s, two women were walking along a path in River Oaks, Houston's wealthiest neighborhood.
A frog hops on the path ahead of them.
" Ladies, I was a wealthy Texas Oil Man until the oil bust turned me into a frog. If one of you will pick me up and kiss me, I'll turn back into a Texas Oil Man and I'll mary you"
Without a word, one of the women picks up the frog and continues walking.
The other woman says
"Aren't you going to kiss him?"
" Hell no! These day a talking frog is worth a hell of a lot more than a Texas Oil Man.
