I believe you are exactly right. Drs Patterson’s and Yo discussed the cognitive impact, I believe of both brain fog and depression, in long haulers. These impacts are common with Lyme, HIV, chemotherapy, traumatic brain injuries and a host of other inflammatory insults.
I won’t have the detailed exactly correct, but TNF-alpha and IL-6 are both elevated from RANTES and agents of cognitive issues.
