Gold reclaims $1,650 as dollar weakens
G-7 aims to ease currency-war fears; platinum, palladium prices rise
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Gold futures headed higher Tuesday, set to finish above the $1,650-an-ounce level, finding support from weakness in the dollar as the market assessed a statement from the Group of Seven nations on foreign-exchange rates.
Gold for April delivery (COMEX:GCJ3) tacked on $2.10, or 0.1%, to $1,651.20 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, trading between $1,639.50 and $1,653.80. http://www.marketwatch.com/story/gold-cuts-lo...atest_news
