The DSMC PR over 3 weeks ago said that they had 169 patients at that point. IMO, if the difference in mortality between the 2 groups is large enough, they may know now if they have already hit the PE within 0.05 while waiting for the full data set to come in.
If they know now, they can send that info to the FDA to support the NEWS2 data from M/M for EUA.
