I am extremely sorry for your loss. We should all be pushing the FDA to act.
The important point, IMO, is that leronlimab has not been delayed by its adherence to double blinded, placebo controlled studies, but the failure of other therapeutics to follow the same path of scientific evluation.
Open label studies, except for some cases of evaluating the relative merits of two proven therapeutics, wastedtime, resources and lives as these therapeutics are neither proven nor disproven conclusively.
